Barr: Durham Progress Due To Outstanding Responsiveness From FBI & Wray, “Let The Chips Fall Where They May”

Attorney General Bill Barr responds to former intelligence officials who have criticized his probe into the origins of the FBI-led investigation into Donald Trump’s campaign and the events that led to Robert Mueller being appointed special counsel. In an interview with FOX News, Barr said John Durham is making progress in Russia-probe inquiry. Durham now has the ability to impanel a grand jury, issue subpoenas, and file criminal charges…

“Some of the countries that John Durham thought might have some information or be helpful to his investigation wanted preliminarily to talk to me about the scope of the investigation,” Barr said. “So I initially discussed these matters with those countries, then introduce them to John Durham and established a channel by which Mr. Durham can obtain assistance from those countries. But he is in charge of the investigation. I’m not doing the investigation.”
