President Donald Trump has been arguing for years that there’s rampant fraud and crimes taking place in America’s elections. And a recent case proves he is absolutely correct.
A prominent Michigan official is now facing six felony charges for stunning election crimes.
Sherikia Hawkins, who serves as a city clerk for Southfield, allegedly forged records and falsely marked absentee ballots as invalid during the 2018 midterm election. The Democrat was arrested after the Oakland County Clerk’s office noticed discrepancies in voter counts while certifying absentee ballots from Southfield.
The case first made headlines in late September, but the conclusion of a police investigation reveals the extent to which the Democrat committed election crimes.
Authorities found that records had been altered so that nearly 200 voter files were improperly listed as invalid.
Hawkins is accused of switching her original reports with altered reports. Originals were reportedly found in a trash can.
It’s also important to note that Hawkins is not some random Democrat.
She’s an award-winning leftist insider in the state who was honored this summer with the Democrats’ Dingell/Levin Award at the party’s Legacy Dinner in Detroit.
She is also paid over $101,000 annually as the city’s clerk and controls all of the election matters in the area.
Seems like corrupt Democrats have been charged and arrested a lot lately.
