Florida officials offer money to residents for trapping cats

esidents in Miami-Dade County can earn money while helping solve a problem.

Animal Services officials this week announced a new initiative to help humanely manage the outdoor cat population in the county, according to CBS Miami.

The Tip the Trapper initiative will pay trappers $15 for each cat that is taken to animal services to be vaccinated, sterilized and ear-tipped.
