KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) — An inmate attacked and killed two convicted child molesters, California State Prison officials say.
It happened January 16 around 2:30 p.m. at the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison in Corcoran (SATF).
According to prison officials, inmate Jonathan Watson, 41, attacked two inmates with a weapon, causing multiple head wounds to both victims.
Medical staff continued life-saving measures while waiting for the ambulance for both injured inmates, prison officials say.
Both inmates were taken to a local medical center, but inmate David Bobb, 48, died while on the way to the hospital at 4:01 p.m., prison officials say.
