A state legislator in Alaska compared coronavirus screening measures to the labeling of Jews by Nazi Germany.
On Friday, Republican Rep. Ben Carpenter of Nikiski expressed fierce opposition to soon-to-be-enacted steps to control the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the Anchorage Daily News, starting on Monday lawmakers will be required to undergo a health screening test as they return to work at the state Capitol in Juneau. Those who test negative will be asked to wear a sticker.
