The official Twitter account used by the late Herman Cain is still tweeting, and it recently fired off a post that claimed the coronavirus — which killed Cain — isn’t as deadly as people think.
“It looks like the virus is not as deadly as the mainstream media first made it out to be,” the tweet read, linking to a Western Journal article on recent data from the CDC.
The tweet has since been deleted.
The CDC report says that 6 percent of coronavirus deaths in the U.S. were due to the virus being the only underlying condition — a detail skeptics of the virus jumped on to claim that the reaction to the pandemic was overblown.
