Personal pet peeve of mine: Potluck sign-up sheets!!!
WHY??????
If everybody brings dessert we eat lotsa dessert. If pasta salads then we all load up on pasta salad. Maybe more than one person bakes a ham and we pig out on ham. Why does this bother some people? That’s the “luck” part of a potluck.
There’s always that ONE yahoo at work or church who insists on organizing things that don’t need to be organized. Potlucks don’t need any organization beyond picking a date and time and then putting up a poster. Done. Ready to potluck.
