Does Your Political Typology Land Where You Think It Does?

I often find myself a suck for online quizzes. Though I have often been discouraged by political ideology map quizzes. The reason being is they often have loaded questions with little to no way to allow you to explain your choice. So you feel like you are being baited to answer a question better off answered by someone of a different political view even though you may agree with it for a whole different reason.

I remember having one question that went something like this: “Do you believe that we should stop immigrants from crossing the border illegally, and that we need to deport all dreamers?”

So there was this dilemma in the question where one part I agreed with and the other I did not… and I was expected to answer yes or know. Majority of the political spectrum quizzes did this. Well finally today I ran into a completely new quiz and decided to give it a try though I gave up on them. One reason was that this is from Pew Research. There are ‘no’ Yes-or-No questions. What you are presented with are two questions that you are asked to select which is more suited to your beliefs. The statements are not terrifying, if one is offensive the other is likely to not be. You just select the one that is not offensive.

By the end of the quiz I ended up being: Center-Right… or as they called it…
