Did Jesus Die In Old Age

R&I – FS

Hi

Did Jesus Die In Old Age?

Early Christianity is full of controversies and anomalies, and from 380 CE, the Roman church claimed all the ancient and early church-fathers for itself. Fathers such as:

Clement of Rome. (35-99 CE)

Ignatius of Antioch. (b?-108 CE)

Polycarp of Smyrna. (65-155 CE)

Papias of Hierapolis. (70-130 CE)

Justin Martyr. (100-165 CE)

Irenaeus of Lyons. (130-202 CE)

Clement of Alexandria. (150-215 CE)

Origen of Alexandria. (185-254 CE)

Eusebius of Caesarea. (265-339)

One also has to remember that there was no monarchical bishop of Rome until the mid-2nd-century, and Catholicism did not come into being until 28 February 380 CE, when it became the sole religion of the Roman Empire. When a tripartite of belligerent Roman Emperors decreed: We authorize the followers of this law to assume the title Catholic Christians. [Theodosian Code XVI.1.2]

Most of the above fathers were born into Pagan families and converted to Christianity in later life, and all bar none told lies to embellish their church and god! Even the false apostle Paul, Eusebius and Augustine bishop of Hippo, have been found out with their lies. However, that is not the topic I want to discuss today. I want to discuss, Jesus his life, his missionary and age and place of his death. If we believe tradition and every Christian bar none will tell us that Jesus started his missionary work at age 30. Arrested and executed by crucifixion after his third year of evangelizing the Jews. Yet, the oldest Synoptic Gospels are in unison that Jesus’ mission lasted only 12 months or one year to the time of his death by crucifixion. Most bar one of the above agree that Jesus only did one-year missionary work. We only find Jesus doing three-year missionary work in the Gospel of John the last canon of the Christian scriptures.

The odd one out amongst the fathers is Irenaeus, who asserted that four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, were canonical scripture. Irenaeus also stated the Jesus died of old age! Dying during the time of the Roman Emperor Trojan, (98-117 CE). [Irenaeus: Against Heresies book II, Ch. XXII, 5]  This would make Jesus on his death at least 100 years of age!  Short by a decade to his father Joseph who died age 110 years old if we are to believe Christian writers.
