Rumors abound of a possible remake of The Exorcist.
Does the decline of religion since the original 1973 film indicate to you that a new Exorcist film can only be wasted effort?
Or is the theme of demonic possession perennial enough – whether or not one believes in it – that a well-made film on the subject might come within a stone’s throw of the original Blatty-Friedkin film…?
