They, along with the rank-and-file fellow travelers involved in the BDS (boycott, divestment, sanctions) movement justify their stance by saying they are humanitarians, concerned by “bad” Israel stomping on the “downtrodden Palestinians.” They never acknowledge that Israel, in good faith, not only signed the Oslo Accords in 1993 and 1995, but actually removed itself from both Gaza and parts of the West Bank. That “trust” was almost immediately violated by Yasser Arafat and then Hamas, a terrorist organization.
What did Israel gain? Perfidy and the second Intifada – which has never really ended; rockets, fire balloons, and Palestinian terrorists sneaking into Israel to commit violence through tunnels that were paid for by Hamas with money that was to be used to help the “downtrodden Palestinians.”
All in the cause of exterminating Israel.
