The View tackled breaking news this morning when they discussed the Supreme Court’s decision to expand concealed carry in New York shortly after the ruling broke. During a heated conversation about the legislation, the panel was in universal agreement that the expansion of the second amendment was not good news for New York.
Whoopi Goldberg began the conversation by claiming the Supreme Court was giving a “middle finger to New York.”
“We have been trying to figure out how to get a handle on all that has been going on in this city in particular with gun laws, and it makes you wonder, what does this mean?,” she asked. “Are we saying to people, ‘Yes, you can come to the city and conceal your weapon and now the police have to figure out who is carrying and who is not? It’s insane.”
