Marjorie Taylor Greene was not, clearly, elected for her vast and skilled knowledge of renewable energy. Speaking to a Georgia audience, she suggested that if the U.S. transitions to using more renewable power, such as wind turbines and solar panels, would mean losing a lot of electrical appliances modern society has come to rely on, such as refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioning.

Renewable energy, incidentally, continues to be available if the wind isn’t blowing and the sun isn’t shining, because energy can be stored in batteries.
