Was there a Jesuit Plot to Assassinate Abraham Lincoln?

Hi

Was there a Jesuit Plot to Assassinate Abraham Lincoln?

You can all thank Wombosi, and Fossil for inspiring me to write this addition, to my discussion IHS and the Two Babylons! Dated 2023-05-03, Jero Jones.

There are those among us, who will not accept any amount of credible citation, and still ask for more. It can be frustrating to say the least, yet, they themselves will only cite a rebuttal after the fact, against my quote, instead they rely on their indoctrination or their lack of information about the subject to give a response. As most of you know, I always cite my discussions, which is very time-consuming, and I may have two or three or more discussions that I am working on at any one time. Nothing is of my doing, I am a researcher, first, and foremost. Conveying what scholars have written or quoted from the past and present. Since my retirement in 2001, and since I have been writing my polemics narratives for discussions, I have realized that Christians, have weaknesses, their Achilles’ heel. They do not know their Bible or the bloody history of their religion. They will reject outright any mention of their scriptures being controversial, fraudulent or fabricated, by past copyists. If their critics fail their argument, they will rebound say that their God inspired the hand of men, or the Bible is the word and work of their God. Yes, men who were incapable of spelling made incalculable errors while coping with an error-ridden exemplar/master copy of a biblical manuscript. With today’s Bible publishers taking on the role of their god, by further eroding from the original Greek autograph written by anonymous authors, but certainly not by the named apostles that are credited for the canonical gospels.

(For a version of The Bible to be copyrighted, it has to have a significant number of changes from another version, or else they would be guilty of copyright infringement.)

I can assure you that my work is inspired by one thing or another, but my inspiration certainly does not come from an invisible being, who created untold anomalies within the scriptures. The apostles were illiterate Aramaic-speaking peasants, mostly fishermen. See Acts 4:13 which confirms the illiteracy of the alleged prince of the apostles, Peter, and John who Jesus loved. They were a pair of idiots according to the Greek NT.

As I stated earlier that some commentators will not accept any citation, if it shows their religion in a bad light or is not accepted by their creed. There were two instances in the last weeks when I added the Jesuit Oath to the discussion, IHS and the Two Babylons!  I cited the oath as being in the book, The Suppressed Truth about the Assassins of Abraham Lincoln. In fact, my citation was between square brackets with the author’s name, date of issue, and title. See citation: [Burke McCarthy (1922), The Suppressed Truth about the Assassins of Abraham Lincoln, Lock Box 1618 Washington D.C. From the collection of the Library of Congress, USA].  Because the book was titled Assassination of Abraham Lincoln, these two commentators took it that I was referring to the Jesuits as the assassins of Abe Lincoln.  I did not suggest such a thing, they misread the citation.  In fact, one commentator stated that he had not read the article, but wanted to put his two Pence worth in, which is a norm with some commentators on Disqus.  Which led me to further research Abe Lincoln to find that his was more afraid of Catholicism, than he was afraid of the Confederate Army.

Quotes:

Abraham Lincoln was fully aware of the evil nature of the Jesuits. He stated, “… it is not against the Americans of the South, alone, I am fighting. It is more against the Pope of Rome, his perfidious Jesuits and their blind and bloodthirsty slaves that we have to defend ourselves.”—Source: Fifty Years in the Church of Rome, by Charles Chiniquy. p. 496

“It would seem that the Jesuits had had it in mind, from the beginning of the war [the American Civil War of 1861-1865], to find an occasion for the taking off [i.e., the assassination] of Mr. [Abraham] Lincoln.”—Source: Thomas M. Harris (U.S. Army Brigadier General; Author of the book Rome’s Responsibility for the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln)

“The war [i.e., the American Civil War of 1861-1865] would never have been possible without the sinister influence of the Jesuits.”— Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865; 16th President of the United States)

“The favourite policy of the Jesuits [is] that of assassination.”— Brigadier General Thomas M. Harris

“The organization of the [Roman Catholic] Hierarchy is a complete military despotism, of which the Pope is the ostensible [i.e., apparent; seeming] head; but of which, the Black Pope [Ed. Note: The Superior General of the Jesuits], is the real head. The Black Pope is the head of the order of the Jesuits, and is called a General [i.e., the Superior General]. He not only has command of his own order, but [also] directs and controls the general policy of the [Roman Catholic] Church. He [the Black Pope] is the power behind the throne, and is the real potential head of the Hierarchy. The whole machine is under the strictest rules of military discipline. The whole thought and will of this machine, to plan, propose and execute, is found in its head. There is no independence of thought, or of action, in its subordinate parts. Implicit and unquestioning obedience to the orders of superiors in authority, is the sworn duty of the priesthood of every grade…”— Brigadier General Thomas M. Harris. See also:

What do you say to the further research on Abraham Lincoln, and the Jesuit threat, was it real, or just a myth during the anti-Catholic period of the mid-19th century?
