Some mysteries are so vexing, so puzzling, and so beyond the reach of mere mortals, that you can safely assume they’ll never be solved — such as why this lady is struggling to find gainful employment:
Melissa Sloan, 46, who hails from Wales in the United Kingdom, previously had a job cleaning toilets but says she hasn’t been able to find a similar gig because of the art that adorns her face and body.
“I can’t get a job,” Sloan bluntly told the Daily Star. “I applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live, and they won’t have me because of my tattoos.”
That’s just terrible. A lady not being hired because of her tattoos? Is it a few stylish designs on her arm? Maybe a peace symbol on her neck?
Oh. Oh. Okay.
Eh. Er. Um, all right.
Oh! Okay then.
Well, that’s rough. Can’t anything be done about it now, I guess. But no doubt this lady is soberly reflecting on her rather bizarre life choices and is at least determined to pump the brakes on the tattoo thing, right?
