Those that follow Ancient Egypt, or are keen on Egyptian history, will know of the Hyksos, rulers of Egypt’s 15th-dynasty (1650-1550) of Pharaohs. Who were a foreign Semitic people who migrated into the eastern side of the Nile delta before 1900 BCE. One of my earlier discussion, “Surely there is a mistake in Jewish History!” About the Egyptian northern provinces of Retjenu? Where I believed that the story of the Exodus was made-up by zealot Jewish authors, to give the Israelites a history.
This new discussion, is brought about by comments made in the past by certain Disqus zealot members to give a historic latitude to the twisted story, with name changes to whom the real Israelites were in history. Conquering people have always migrated, and that is what the ancient Hyksos did. Hyksos ḥqꜣ(w)–ḫꜣswt, meaning rulers of foreign lands.
The fourteenth Dynasty (1725-1650): Canaanite kings with their residence at Avaris contemporary with the Thirteenth Dynasty. The dynasty came into being when the Canaanite population in the Delta proclaimed its own ruler during the reign of *Nofrusobk, after having gradually seceded from the rest of Egypt during the late Twelfth Dynasty (1991-1802 BCE). The rise of this dissident dynasty and the subsequent divisions of Egypt ushered in the Second Intermediate Period. *(aka Sobekneferu, the first known female Pharaoh of the Twelfth Dynasty). The Judaism and Christian stories we find in Exodus, are really a historical story twisted in favour of the ancient so-called Israelites. However, the true people of this story are the Canaanites, who migrated to the eastern Nile Delta in Egypt. Who much later, after several defeats by ethnic Pharaohs, migrated back to the land of Canaan. One can say, what goes around, comes around. So the story of the Israelites is actually the story of the Canaanites returning to their promised lands. The Hebrew alphabet and text evolved from Canaanites script, so the Israelites were the very same people as the Canaanites.
