Jesus was a Teacher, and the True Prophet, not a man-made Deity or God!
Early Christian text, be it, canonical or non-canonical, forgery or pseudepigrapha, such as the Clementine Homilies, and Recognitions. Text that is supposedly written by Clement I, bishop of Rome (91-101). All are important to biblical scholars, who gleam from these ancient manuscripts what people of the day thought and did in public or on religious matters.
The True Prophet.
“Then Peter answered: The true Prophet, therefore, who appeared to us is the one whom Moses foretold should come, and whom we ought to hear in all things; that is, Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified and rose again on the third day. He is the eternal Judge appointed by God, through whom all men who live according to God’s commands shall have life. As the one true Prophet, has instructed us to worship God alone, and to be eager to do good and righteous deeds. For he that persuades men to worship God alone and to lead a righteous life, this is he whom we call the true Prophet; but he who makes light of God’s commandments, and speaks contrary to His law, is manifestly a false prophet.”—Recognitions 4:36, see also Deuteronomy 13:1-5 on the matter of false apostles/dreamers.
Ancient, and early Christianity portrayed Jesus, not as a God, or heavenly deity, but a man, who was seen as a teacher, and prophet. Which was far different to latter orthodox Christians, who made Jesus a God, through the concept of the Trinity doctrine (3 = 1, and 1 = 3 concept). So how can Christians be monotheistic?
While his mother, Mary, was a hairdresser in Jewish scriptures, she became (a goddess) the Theotokos (mother of God), at the ecumenical Council of Ephesus in 431 BCE, called by Emperor Theodosius II (408-450).
The original followers of Jesus, the Ebionites aka “blessed are the poor” in the New Testament. On Jesus they acknowledged neither a divine sonship nor a preexistence nor a virgin birth. In addition, they believed Jesus was conceived through normal copulation, union between Mary, and a man. There is no such thing as immaculate conception!
