I don’t vote for only one political party, and I don’t have my opinions dictated to me by either MSNBC or Fox News.
There are some Trump things I can get on board with. Like trying to *buy* Greenland; it’s my favorite Trump idea of all time.
However, Trump’s pardons of neo-nazis and individuals who attacked police officers are completely and totally unacceptable.
Don’t get me wrong; I don’t support most of Biden’s pardons, either. But two wrongs don’t make a right.
Trump’s pardons for those who attacked police officers and neo-nazis are unfathomably wrong on every level.
~600 individuals were charged with attacking police officers on 1/6.
Pardoning individuals who attack police officers undermines the rule of law.
Trump’s pardons of those who believe in extremist ideologies, including “Camp Auschwitz” sweatshirt guy, risk adding legitimacy to the ideology of Camp Auschwitz sweatshirt guy.
These pardons are equally or more harmful to the United States of America than Biden’s decision to run for reelection, and that is a high bar.
In conclusion, pardoning those who attack police officers or support neo-nazism weaken the rule of law and emboldens dangerous people.
