Celsus: Christians actively sought out and converted the ignorant, uneducated, and lower class!

Hi

Celsus: Christians actively sought out and converted the ignorant, uneducated, and lower class!

The commentator JLS1950 opened up about his early Christian experience of being thoroughly lied to by three of the then early luminaries of the Institute for Creation Research. Which brought some memories of a discussion I wrote some time back on Henry M. Morris. These three self-made quasi evangelist, Henry Morris, Duane Gish, and Charles (P.) Morse, were smug so-called early inventors of YEC church, who spouted lies about God and the creation. All were engineers in one form or another, not trained clerics, as one expects of religionists. These three had visions of mentally abusing children through indoctrination (including their own children) with their pseudo-religionist views. Especially the Bible flood, and their sect’s later use of dinosaurs to attract children to their religious group.

In addition, Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a polymer composed of two polynucleotide chains that coil around each other to build a double helix. With the double helix now being used as a logo by Institute of Creation Research (ICR), in their devious push to attract young minds.

The flood story originally was not a Christian story, but even older than the Mesopotamian flood story, which Judaism was to reuse, and later coming into Christianity. On genuine science articles, they twist it to suit their pseudo-science, and distort the fact in their favour. Such as dinosaur footprints:

The footprints are so pristine that even after the supposed 166 million years, scientists were able to identify which dinosaurs the prints belonged to. Evolutionist Emma Nicholls, a vertebrate palaeontologist from Oxford University, said the three toes “are very, very clear in the print.”

Perhaps it’s because they were made only 4,500 years ago.

The creatures making these fascinating tracks were 100% dinosaurs created on Day 6. The tracks are well-preserved, like one would expect from catastrophic flood deposits. And finally, their amazing preservation rather than being totally destroyed isn’t what one would expect after supposedly 166 million years of non-stop erosive forces. https://www.icr.org/article/dino-trackway-leads-to-young-earth/I have highlighted the rebuttal of the author from the Institute of Creation Research.  Sadly, this sort of pseudo-science permeates right through evangelical America, and is instilled in the minds of their ignorant supporters.

What do you say on part or all of this post?
