For years, liberal anti-Semitism tried to keep things on the DL (down low).
It hid behind “anti-Zionism” like a faceless Grindr profile; vague, noncommittal, and hoping no one would ask too many questions.
It swore it was “just criticizing a country, not a religion” but, remarkably, never protested any other country.
But now? The closet door has been kicked down, the face pic is on Grindr, and anti-Semitism is strutting down the runway, loud and proud.
And the BBC just handed it a megaphone.
In its documentary on Gaza, the BBC deliberately mistranslated and censored Arabic terms. The word from “Jews” was replaced with “Israelis”, while “jihad” simply disappears entirely, like an inconvenient truth.
Just like liberals prefer to pretend jihad doesn’t exist at all.
What occurred at the BBC is not an accident; it is deliberate progressive censorship. The kind that enables Islamic extremism, while gaslighting Jews about those who want to massacre us.
Because if you have to rewrite reality just to justify your cause, your cause isn’t as righteous as you think.
Questions for Discussion:
1) If “Jews” was deliberately mistranslated to “Israelis,” isn’t that proof that the people know anti-Zionism isn’t about Israelis, but about Jews? Why would people change and soften language if it were really just “anti-Zionism”?
2) If anti-Zionism is truly separate from anti-Semitism, why do mainstream liberal institutions like the BBC feel the need to clean up rhetoric that explicitly targets Jews? Shouldn’t they be exposing hatred, not covering for it?
3) If progressives believe in ‘calling out oppression wherever it exists’, why do they go to extreme lengths to protect Islamic extremists from accountability, while distorting reality to vilify Jews? What does that say about their real priorities?
