If humanity could turn the clock back, how far back would the clock be turned?

Hi

If humanity could turn the clock back, how far back would the clock be turned?

Would we stop the rise of Hitler in 1933, or would we go back further to eliminate, and nip Christianity in the bud? So, changing the rise of Hitler, Stalin, Benito Mussolini, Augusto Pinochet, and Francisco Paulino Hermenegildo Teódulo Franco Bahamonde/aka Franco of Spain, to name but a few 20th-century Christian dictators. If we turn the clock back to at least the year 1492, and get the Church and the Catholic king and Queen of Spain to revoke the sailing licence of Christopher Columbus, and other seafarers from sailing westwards. This would also erase the Matthew, Mayflower, and other ships of the past, from going to or reaching the Americas.

The Native Americans would be free from diseases borne by the sailor and men of these ships, diseases such as syphilis, smallpox, and even the common cold, to name but a few. Instead, the Native Americans would be deciding their own fate, and future, practising their old way, and religions, and living in harmony with nature. Probably without the Horse, and white man from stealing their lands!

Additionally, this would stop the rise of Christian Nationalism in the 21st-century, and what is going on in the US today.  This then would give us freedom from US religions that have been imported to Europe and elsewhere, such as:

Mormonism, 1830.

Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1863.

Christadelphian’s 1848.

Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1870 (1931).

Church of Christ, Scientist (Christian Science), 1879.

Pentecostalism, 1901.

Scientology, 1954.

World wars would be European, there would be no Pearl Harbour (1941), no war in the Far East/Pacific War.

We could even turn the clock back further, say to 55 BCE, and have the tempest, and tides that destroyed half of the Roman fleet of Julius Caesar, come one month earlier. So stopping Caesar expedition to the Isle of Prydain, known to the Greeks as Albion. The invasion of Prydain in 43 CE, would not have gone ahead, and the four legions who were stationed there: XIV Gemina, II Augusta, IX Hispana, and XX Valeria Victrix. (A legion was between 5,400, and 6,000, or about 24,000 men.) Which would have been freed to assist the legions on the continent with the Germania problems. Gwrtheyrn aka Vortigern would have had no need to ask Hengest or Hengist (of Beowulf fame), and his brother Horsa, for aid against the Scoti-Gael, and Brithwyr (speckled men)/Picts. So changing history, and languages of Europe, with the Germanic’s to the east of the River Weser, and southern Scandinavia, with the Celtic-Gauls to the west, and no English spoken language anywhere in the world.

N.B. The Roman historian Cassius Dio noted that the British tides were a factor in the difficulties faced during the invasion. Tides in the Mediterranean Sea are generally much smaller compared to those in Britain, although the Med tides on averages have a few centimetres low/high tides. (Of course, there are one or two places in the Med that have up to one metre tides.) Prior to Christopher Columbus discovering America, there are two other explorers that are said to have discovered the Americas first. The Vikings of Leif Erickson, also known as Leif the Lucky (c. 970s – c. 1018 to 1025), and the Welsh Prince Madoc in 1170, according to the Ladies of Mobile, Alabama.

What do you say on part or all of the Post, or would you turn the clock back to another time?

Cofion.
