Parents have every right to bring up their children in the faith they believe in. Nothing wrong with wanting your child to be brought up as you were. But, when does this freedom of religion become abuse, or a crime?
You may not believe in doctors or vaccines, and prefer the power of faith, but what if the child becomes seriously ill or dies? Do the parents have the right to withhold medical treatment or education?
Religious freedom is a biggie in the U.S., but can it go too far? Should withholding medical treatment or education to minors for religious reasons, be treated as a crime?
