Hi
The gospel stories of Jesus’s resurrection, are told in Matthew 28, Luke 24, and John 20, and 21. I have skipped the Markan version of the resurrection, knowing that my Christian friends of this Disqus blog would not like me to print untruths. Knowing that all the oldest biblical manuscripts on Mark 16, end on verse 8. Verses 9-20 in Mark chapter 16 being a much later addition to the New Testament, probably first appearing during the 5th-century, or even in the 6th-century. See what Christian scholars say about Mark’s version of the resurrection of Jesus. http://www.bible-researcher.com/endmark.html. Scholars attest that Matthew, and Luke got a large percentage of their sources from Mark and “Q” or Quelle. (Quelle, which means “source” in German, is used to refer to a hypothetical written source known as Q.)
In John ch.20 states, 6 then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, 7 as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen.
Jesus, being naked/nude during the resurrection, might sound at first like a trivial or even silly question. Believe it or not, it has profound implications. Christian apologists insist on a physical body walking out of the tomb, but our earliest evidence shows clearly that was NOT the original view of his resurrection. But one imposed later for apologetic reasons to fend off charges that the “sightings” of Jesus were perhaps apparitions.
I was inspired by the biblical scholar James Tabor in writing this post. https://jamestabor.com/was-jesus-naked-at-his-resurrection-2/
What do you say, was Jesus naked during his resurrection, what we call today a “streakers.”?
