The end of days are coming. Antichrists, wars, false messiahs, rapture, Jesus coming down in a rage to hunt down the evil one, 1,000 years of Jesus rule, wars, a final judgment, and then the place being destroyed.
Why is all of this necessary? Is God being sadistic? The guy who created it all with a word can’t end it the same way? “Listen up mankind. You have 20 minutes, then everybody out of the pool. The chosen will go to heaven, the rest of you off to hell.”
If the Bible is true, is God being unnecessarily cruel? If not true, is it just a way to keep the people in line?
