Silva has been at the centre of the storm in England this week after the FA announced that they were investigating a tweet in which he compared teammate Benjamin Mendy to the Conguitos logo.
Guardiola spoke in Silva’s favour in midweek amid claims his tweet was racist and again defended the player on Friday.
“If they believe and what they believe about Bernardo, they are completely wrong,” the former Barcelona coach said in a press conference.
