Recently, two articles were posted to the Religion channel of BN&R, a treatise on atheists to ‘just believe’. One asked, “What would convince you?” and the other demanded, “For the skeptic, believe already!”
In both of these articles, the writer wanted to ask atheists what it would take to believe. I would like to turn this on its head and ask them in return:
What would it take for you to stop believing in God?
This isn’t a demand for anyone to stop believing, or even proselytizing atheism (which I do not believe is possible). I just wonder how theists would respond to the same kind of question being posed to them.
Thank you for reading and responding!
