I mentioned in a previous discussion that it seems inconsistent for Christians to be focussed on gay people as particularly sinful and damaging to society, considering the much greater volume of text in the old and new testament dedicated to the problem of adultery and divorce.
So, let’s harp on those for a discussion instead.
From a Christian theological perspective, which sin do you believe is worse: adultery, or divorce and remarriage?
What about from a more neutral sociological perspective (marriage isn’t only a Christian institution): what is more damaging socially: adultery, or divorce?
