Gamers, rejoice. If you grew up loving video games like Pong, Centipede and Asteroids, there’s a new hotel destination tailored to take guests to the next level with ‘fully immersive experiences.’
Gaming giant Atari has announced plans to open up a series of eight hotels in cities across the country including Austin, Chicago; Denver; Las Vegas; San Francisco; Seattle; and San Jose, California. The iconic brand behind the gaming revolution of the 1980s hopes to create a “unique lodging experience” matched with a “one-of-a-kind video game-themed destination.” Select hotels will also offer state-of-the-art venues and studios to accommodate e-sports events.
