God is ‘bringing many sons unto glory,’ through day-to-day personal relationship with Christ. The New Testament attests, ‘Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered.’ Christ lived obedient to every detail the Father sent, ‘.. even the death of the cross.’
We Christians are not bringing glory to God in our everyday life because we hang on to our individuality — we are not deferring to the life of Christ in us. ‘You are bought with a price; be not servants of men.’ As disciples of Jesus, walk in the light with him, in failure and success.
I believe Christians have a multitude of beliefs because we are a multitude of individuals. Christians stick to principles and beliefs whereas disciples stick to Christ. God wants the world to see Jesus Christ evidenced in his sons and daughters. ‘Hearken unto him.’
