To Everyone here suffereing from COVID-19

**Please refrain from posting politics and sarcastic remarks.  Our fellow Human Beings suffering from COVID-19 are going through a really rough time right now.  Let’s help them attain inner peace and reach out to be there for them when they need it most.  It’s the right thing to do.  God’s blessings to All and my heartfelt thanks to everyone who joins in.  We’re getting through this together.  We got this.**

 

Everyone living with COVID-19 … KNOW YOU’RE NOT ALONE.  We’re right here with you

 

Experiencing hard times in life is tough enough with a group but grows infinitely harder when we’re left alone with our own personal thoughts.  It’s okay and all very normal.  Here are some useful techniques to help you through:

 

One of the best the Veterans Administrations teaches is keep our mind busy with positive productive thoughts when “stinking thinking” keeps trying to take over.  Doesn’t matter what our personal positive thoughts are as long as they’re uplifting.  It’s highly recommended to avoid thinking of anything that evokes strong emotions because the whole point is giving ourself peace during a time when we need it most.

 

Another really great technique is taking yourself to your own special place within your own mind.  Try a quiet place like a water fall, the ocean or anything natural with water given it’s connection with all life.  Visualize this place with only you in it listening to the sounds of nature.  Let your thoughts drift until you’re no longer thinking but simply absorbing the quiet peacefulness of where you’re at.   You’ll know you’re there because it feels like you’re kind of asleep but you’re not.  It’s a meditation state where our minds relax which in turn relaxes our whole body.  You’ll be really glad you did this and your relaxed feelings afterward are well worth it.

In both instances try to find a quiet place which will help you concentrate more easily.  If you can’t then create your own quiet place by blocking out everything going on around you.  This can be a bit difficult at first but you will make it happen as long as you stick with it and don’t quit on yourself no matter what.  Stay with it.  Believe you’ve got this and you most assuredly will.

 

Regardless of whatever has gone on around here know the rest of us are right here with you so you’re not alone.  If you reach out we’ll be very happy to go through this with you.  There is no shame in becoming ill.  Happens to all of us one way or another which is why it’s a normal part of life.  The only shame is in trying to go it alone when you have so many people around you who truly care.  So again you’re not alone.  Just reach out. We got you 🙂
