Hi

An Extraordinary Man in Extraordinary Times being Extraordinary Sacked!

Captain Brett Crozier, late of the USS Theodore Roosevelt has been removed from duty because of a letter he wrote about the coronavirus on board his ship, stating that his men needn’t be dying outside of wartime.  Acting US Navy Secretary Thomas Modly said the commander “exercised extremely poor judgement.”

Shame on Trump, shame on the Secretary of Navy, and shame on the US Navy that a leader of men can be sacked for doing his job by looking after the welfare of his men first.  That is what a Captain does!

The BBC reported the Navy secretary Modly as saying: “that Captain Crozier was being fired for allegedly leaking the letter to the media.”

He said the letter “created the impression the Navy was not responding to his questions”.

“It creates the perception the Navy is not on the job; the government is not on the job. That’s just not true.” Well, the facts speak for themselves that over one hundred of the ship’s personnel were infected and had to be quarantined. The cramped confinement of his men is likened to a horror movie.  With 4,000 men crowded on board the warship, with contagion all around, only the sea to escape the pestilence.

Then isolating his sick seamen on the island Guam to stop the coronavirus from spreading to the rest of his crew.

Give him his job back as he is worthy of being called Capitan!

What do you say?

Keep Safe
