I was trippin’ through youtube and came across this video where a current One Oh One threw a welcome home ceremony for us back in 2009. You Doggies always knew how to do it up righteous and the Current Troops are definitely carrying your Legacy. Made my eyes sweet a bit. Man they look old and after looking in the mirror mirror so do I. Considering we now laugh about how we made it this far when we didn’t believe we’d live to see our nineteenth or twentieth birthday we ain’t doin’ too bad. We’re still beau coup dinky dau so it’s all good. We bad.
Our war was half a century ago which means the Youngsters have to look at us the same way we saw the old World War I Vets. Damn that’s some severe type shit. I know we all still agree the 9th Infantry Division working the Delta got the green weenie the worst. Any of you 9th Troops reading this know you’re still the baddest motherfuckers who walked through the Valley.

Man I miss you Sorry Suckers. You’re forever some of the Finest Human Beings I’ll ever know and I’m damn proud of us All. Some still hate us and others will never understand why we hate being called “hero” just because we did our jobs. What kind of shit is that? The only real Heores are our Fallen who are forever with us for the rest of our days.
