Unit is coming off field maneuvers and they’re preparing for the truck ride back to camp. First Sergeant has Gunny giving the Unit a quick talk while they’re waiting to be picked up. He’s telling them they’re on “liberty” free time after they turn their weapons in.”
“Fart sacks” are mattress covers that go underneath the sheets, don’t jump off the barracks third floor using them like parachutes
“Rain rooms” are barracks showers, don’t piss in the drains
“BC” is Battalion Commander, “Office Hours” is Article 15 Non Judicial Punishment for looking at her
“Donkey dicks” are long traffic cones, don’t fill fuel cans with beer and guzzle it through the cones
“Math for Marines MCI” (Marine Corps Institute correspondence course), teaches Young Marines how to manage money, you can’t buy a car if you haven’t completed it
Don’t swap saline solution for vodka to feed yourself IV, don’t kill yourself
“PFT 07 monday morning” drink a lot of water to help flush out all the weekend’s alcohol before taking the physical fitness test
Flicking cigarette butts in dry grass, self explanatory
“Ground guides for POV’s” someone has to be outside guiding privately owned vehicles while operating in parking lot ares of the barracks, PX, chowhall, etc.
“782 gear” field/combat packs and equipment is tearing up barracks washing machines
“Mandatory fun day Saturday 1600” means someone sent in a complaint and First Sergeant has everyone coming in at 4:00 pm on saturday to super clean their barracks
7 Ton (troop carrying trucks) are here to take us back to camp. Saddle up and let’s move out.
