Dr. Jill Biden dismissed a question about her husband Joe Biden’s repeated blunders on the campaign trail.
In a socially distant interview in Norfolk, Virginia, that aired on Sunday, CNN anchor Jake Tapper brought up the first debate against President Trump on Tuesday and was unable to finish asking Biden about her husband making “the occasional gaffe” before she shut the question down.
“Oh, you can’t even go there. After Donald Trump, you cannot even say the word gaffe,” she said during the interview.
Tapper, who was laughing at her response, tried to lean back into the question, but Biden wouldn’t have it. “Done. It’s gone. … Over, so over,” she said. Tapper then moved on with his next question about Trump’s comments regarding a peaceful transition of power.
