Christianity Dies On The Cross Of Its Anthropocentrism: Man Is The Center Of Everything!

Approved ~ Lord Løki

The headline says it all:

Christianity dies on the cross of its anthropocentrism…

…Man is the center of everything.

Think about it: The god made man to have dominion over woman, and over the “beasts in the field”…over everything.

Mankind occupies a miniscule corner of a massive Universe…yet the god created the entire enchilada just for…Man. Not even for Woman.

Whomsoever wrote Ecclesiastes nailed it:

Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun? One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the Earth abideth for ever.

–Ecclesiastes 1:2, King James Version

Questions:

  1. I dismiss Christianity on the absurd grounds it makes Man the center of everything. Do you?
  2. Not content with making Man the center, Christianity aggravates the vanity by its deep focus on the “Narcissism of the Soul“…the desperate clamor for an eternal life. What do you think?
  3. 14.5 billion years of the Universe’s existence…just to make Man the central reason for the Universe’s creation. Who shares the sense of absurdity I feel when I contemplate this naked narcissism?
  4. How do Christian women rationalize this to themselves?
