R&I NV — Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) said recently that she does not soften her tone because she is similar to Jesus Christ.
Boebert made the remarks to TBN host Mike Huckabee during a Sunday broadcast on Newsmax.
“I believe as a Christian, that frustration we feel on the inside of us sometimes is really just God’s motivation to send us to where we need to be part of the solution,” Boebert said, explaining why she ran for office.
Huckabee noted that Boebert is “not afraid to speak openly about your faith and how it defines you.”
