There has been a bit of a split in the Republican Party when it comes to Russia. Donald Trump and his sycophants in Congress are sympathetic to Vladimir Putin and happy to root Russia on. Many in the GOP, though, are slamming Putin and supporting Ukraine.
Campos-Duffy began by spouting off about the Monroe Doctrine. After Kilmeade countered that Putin was the problem, she responded, “Actually, the main problem is still China,” Campos Duffy shot back. “Now we have created a bigger block, China and Russia together. This is why our policymakers aren’t thinking long-term.” Campos-Duffy then said of the Biden administration, “Provoking this war has brought our two enemies.”
Kilmeade responded, “We did not provoke the war. They provoked war.” He later explained to his co-host, “They can’t make a red line in other countries, Rachel.”
