According to a police report, Price was found with “heavy trauma/bleeding to the head/face.”
Police and prosecutors alleged the four teenages stole a car that broke down outside Price’s home. They said he tried to help the teens, and that’s when prosecutors said they “turned on him.”
Prosecutors alleged that 15-year-old Joshua Hammond Jr. hit Price with a baseball bat. Hammond is being charged as an adult, and he’s being held without bond.
Prosecutors also charged 16-year-old Anterio Parker as an adult — the Douglas County attorney’s office said he’s held on $250,000 bond.
Omaha police said Price succumbed to his injuries on Nov. 12.
