Attorney Benjamin Crump boldly said she “was caught on camera attempting to STEAL a Citi Bike from a young Black man in NYC” — likely opening himself up to a defamation suit.
Her own hospital even threw her under the bus over what’s clearly an out of context clip!
“We are aware of the video involving a health care provider off duty and away from the hospital campus,” NYC Health + Hospitals said in a statement on Tuesday. “The incident in the video is disturbing.”
“The provider is currently out on leave and will remain on leave pending a review,” the hospital continued. “As a health system we are committed to providing an environment for our patients and staff that is free from discrimination of any kind.”
What’s disturbing is that they would throw their own employee under the bus just to please a social media mob.
