After being kicked out of courtroom, Alvin Foy III handed maximum sentence in fatal shooting of Chyna Forney

Alvin Foy III, 20, of Albany, was sentenced for 25 years to life in state prison in an Albany County Court on Friday after he was convicted of murder on April 3.

On May 3, 2021, 18-year-old Chyna Forney was found in the road with a gunshot wound to the back and later pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center. Foy III and his co-defendant, 20-year-old Jahmere Manning, left the scene on Essex Street riddled with bullets and over 40 shell casings, striking several cars as well.
