Hydrocarbons Are the Creator’s Gift to This World

“All green energy generation schemes are dishonest schemes, for various reasons. They all need enormous tax-payer funding to make them economically viable. Why is that? Because there is no such thing as a ‘free lunch’.”

The storage of hydrocarbon fuels in the Earth’s crust speaks of God’s providence and common grace on humanity. The Second Law of Thermodynamics tells us that all systems decay. It takes intelligence to reverse those decay processes with a mechanism driven by external energy. So that means to have available cheap energy stored in the rocks, whether as a consequence of the global deluge in Noah’s day or whether it is primordial from the creation of the planet, it is by design.

Secular humans have lost their way. They seem to believe that humans have power over the creation and that they know more than the Creator. The green movement is acting like a Nimrod building their own ‘Tower of Babel’ but it is all an illusion. In this case, their ‘Tower of Babel’ is their fantasy world of free clean energy but it is based on a total fiction. Even pigs can fly in their world. Cold reality is another matter.

The Creator created the laws of physics which control this universe. His simplest thoughts are more productive than any green scheme. “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men” (1 Cor. 1:25).

All green energy generation schemes are dishonest schemes, for various reasons. They all need enormous tax-payer funding to make them economically viable. Why is that? Because there is no such thing as a ‘free lunch’. That means the laws of physics, the laws of nature, cannot be broken and you cannot get free energy or more energy out than you put in.

Maybe you have read of the many failed green energy schemes. Billions of dollars were given to failed bankrupt hair-brained schemes via tax credits, grants and investment. Total waste. That is what you get when you go against basic physics. Let’s discuss an example that illustrates the problem.
