Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on Tuesday said during a Fox News that he traveled on Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet twice, but he never knew of any “nefarious issues.”
Epstein, the sex offender associated with celebrities and powerful politicians who committed suicide while being held on charges of sex trafficking in 2019, has come into the spotlight again as Sen. Dick Rubin, D-Ill., is blocking the release of his private jet logs.
Kennedy appeared on Jesse Watter’s show Primetime where they discussed FBI Director Christopher Wray’s testimony before the Senate Oversight Committee earlier that day that included a discussion on Epstein’s flight logs.
“You weren’t ever on Jeffrey Epstein’s jet, were you?” Watters asked Kennedy.
“I was on Jeffrey Epstein’s jet two times,” Kennedy replied, saying his then-wife, Emily Black, had “some kind of relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell,” at the time. Maxwell, an Epstein aide, was convicted of sex trafficking minors.
