In addition to holding the woman captive, Koeckeritz also sexually exploited a minor girl on similar allegations. He now faces life in prison after initially being arrested in 2022.

Authorities were alerted to the sex trafficking scheme when the adult victim was able to alert her sister and a friend to the situation. They then went to the police, who reacted by raiding the home.

Koeckeritz and the adult victim first met as business partners and founded a company called The Boring Company. That company was described as an advocacy and resource group for furries, but Koeckeritz turned it into a sex trafficking scheme where he forced the victim to create pornographic content for OnlyFans and other sexually explicit subscription-based websites, the outlet reports.

The victim told detectives that Koeckeritz held her captive in a room and forced her to make daily erotic videos. He cut off all communication with the victim’s friends and family and kept all of the earnings to himself, according to prosecutors.
