She went on PBS to explore her ancestry.

Turns out, she is the descendant of slave-owners from Spain who owned Africans.

Man… it’s almost like there is no such thing as race and we’re all a beautiful blend of good and bad people from the past who lived in complex contexts and cultures of their own time. Maybe we shouldn’t judge each other based on who were were related to 300 years ago and start judging each other by our character and actions now.

But nah, guess Sunny still thinks throwing white people (who may or may not have any connection to slavery hundreds of years ago) under the bus is the best path forward!
