Donald Trump took to Truth Social to say it was his “great honor” to get shot for democracy, referring to an attempted assassination attempt earlier this month in Butler, Pennsylvania.
In a short message on Tuesday, the former president claimed the administration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris did not “properly protect” him.
“The Biden/Harris Administration did not properly protect me, and I was forced to take a bullet for Democracy. IT WAS MY GREAT HONOR TO DO SO!” Trump wrote.
