Warning: Contains spoilers for Evil season four. The horror show Evil, streaming on Paramount+, has been canceled, but there is still an opportunity for another streaming service to pick up the series. This frightening series follows an investigative team the Catholic Church hires, which features a forensic psychologist, a priest, and a technology contractor. These characters look into paranormal issues the church hears about and band together with their various backgrounds to solve the cases. Evil‘s final chilling season continues this storyline, but it is so outstanding that it is unfortunate the series is being canceled.

There are several ways to continue the series after its final episodes air. A spinoff after Evil season 4 could certainly continue the story and bring out a plotline that may have been unsuitable for the original series. Even then, there are more ways Evil‘s legacy could prosper after this cancelation. Paramount+’s series should find a way to continue after their final approved episodes reach audiences.

Unfortunately for viewers of Evil, the show was canceled before the fourth season’s release. The Paramount+ network decided to cancel the series. Like several other series, this decision probably involved the Evil season four filming shutdown due to the writer’s strike. By this point in the series, though, several incomplete storylines remain that cannot be resolved without a proper conclusion. To solve this issue, four bonus episodes will fully wrap up Evil. Hopefully, these episodes do justice to these characters and stories.
