Watchdog Report Highlights Administration’s Breaches of Public’s Trust

Protect the Public’s Trust (PPT) today released a roundup report detailing the dozens of ethics complaints the government watchdog filed naming high-ranking officials in the Biden-Harris administration.

At the beginning of his term, President Biden’s White House announced that the Biden-Harris administration would be the most ethical and transparent in history. With great fanfare it unveiled new ethics standards for the administration and pledged to ensure the “highest levels” of scientific integrity. Since then, PPT has found many apparent ethics violations committed by special interest-driven Biden-Harris administration officials, from the White House to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Department of the Interior, and more. Meanwhile, the legacy media and watchdog organizations that were so enthusiastic in attempting to uncover wrongdoing in the Trump administration have given Biden-Harris a pass.

PPT’s new report highlights our complaints filed with agency inspectors general and ethics officials throughout the Biden-Harris administration, ranging from Hatch Act violations by presidential spokespeople, conflicts of interest arising from White House attorneys representing President Biden in his classified documents case, Special Climate Envoy John Kerry’s peddling of warped climate data, and multiple conflicts arising from the revolving door between this administration and special interest groups. A number of PPT’s complaints have resulted in findings of violations. Today’s report encapsulates PPT’s efforts, and links to complaints chronicling ethically dubious activities of the self-described most transparent administration in history.
