Seriously… I have to know… all of you who claim to believe (or even to know) that some deity exists and got its divine fingers involved in what can only be described as some shoddy penmanship… do you seriously believe it? I mean… like… deep down, honestly… truly…
Because from where I’m sat…
1. You cannot offer any reason that stands up to the slightest scrutiny to believe as you claim to (AND YOU KNOW IT)
2. When it comes to “understanding” the text, you all play fast and loose with the text, which doesn’t strike me as the action of a true believer
What’s going on? Do you have any doubt at all that your “holy text” has divine backing? Why is it so seemingly contradictory to history, reality and even itself? Why does it say horribly sexist and racist and immoral things (such as race-based slavery [Bible] or that it’s okay to rape slaves [Qur’an])?
