It’s rather obvious to point out that the 2028 elections are a long way off. But these days, it seems presidential election seasons begin approximately nine minutes after the polls close on the previous presidential election season. Among Democrats, the positioning for 2028 runs has been underway for a while.
If recent history is any indication, the Democrats will select a 2028 slate that will be the campaign equivalent of Pickett’s Charge, and as evidence, I offer that New York’s own loony left Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is mulling a 2028 run.
To which I can only say, “Yes, please do.“
