Now that the Trump administration has shut down the Southern Border tighter than Illinois Democrat Gov. JB Pritzker’s underwear, a new migrant caravan has set a course for a destination not the U.S.
The caravan, composed primarily of Cuban and Haitian refugees, departed from Mexico’s southern border with Guatemala, marching toward Mexico City to seek asylum there. As I suggested, the group insists it has no plans to continue on to the U.S. border.
Given the historical efforts ICE, DHS, border czar Tom Homan, and President Trump I’m inclined to take the migrants’ word on this one.
Maybe.
